Where tablet rental is the practical answer

Tablet rental is almost always event-driven. Registration desks at conferences, mobile check-in for hotel bookings, demo stations at retail launches, customer-feedback surveys at exhibition booths, lead-capture forms at trade shows. In all of these, a phone is too small for the form and a laptop is too clunky. A bunch of identical iPads or Android tablets, pre-loaded with the right app, is the cleanest solution.

We also see steady demand for field-team rollouts: pilot programmes for door-to-door surveys, retail-floor stocktakes, last-mile delivery testing. For longer-term tablet deployments (more than 3 months), monthly contracts at scaled rates work out cheaper than day rate.

Day rate is the starting price for small quantities. For 20 plus tablets or multi-day events, scaled pricing applies. Bulk discount typically kicks in around 30 to 50 percent above 50 units.

Frequently asked questions

Can you pre-lock the tablets to a single app?

Yes. We configure iOS Guided Access or Android Kiosk Mode so the tablet boots straight into your event app and users cannot exit. This is standard for registration desks and feedback kiosks.

Do you provide stands or holders?

Yes. Tabletop stands (vertical and angled), wall mounts and floor-standing kiosk pedestals are available. Specify your venue layout when booking and we send the right stand type. Tabletop stands are included free; kiosk pedestals are billed separately.

Can we provide our own app to be installed?

Yes. Send the .ipa, .apk, App Store link or MDM enrolment 48 hours before the event. For enterprise iOS apps, we can enrol the units in your MDM (Jamf, Microsoft Intune, Hexnode, Scalefusion) at delivery.

What about lost or damaged units during the event?

For day-rate event rentals, we cover normal wear. Lost units are billed at the depreciated replacement value. Damaged units (cracked screen, liquid spill) are billed at the repair cost. We recommend a basic security tether for crowded events.
